As part of San Francisco’s renown
Litquake Literary Festival, the author will be celebrating the release of his book with Word For Word Theatre Company in a staged reading of selections from
Retablos. The event takes places at the Elbo Room (647 Valencia Street) in San Francisco’s
Mission District on October 18th at 7 pm. The performance will be followed by a conversation with
Octavio Solis and Oscar Villalon, with a book-signing immediately after. $15 donation suggested.
